Sprague Mansion

The Sprague Mansion is an historic mansion and the birthplace of Governor William Sprague III and his nephew, Governor William Sprague IV.

The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971, and is owned and operated by The Cranston Historical Society.

It is reputedly haunted by the phantom of Kate Sprague who has been sighted walking down the main staircase. Other phenomena reported include cold spots and a voice that has allegedly been recorded.
